This man’s pace is off the charts…’41 goals’ ‘goal storm’ even faster than Lewandowski’s record
Serge Giroud (27-Stuttgart) is currently one of the most goal-scoring strikers in the world. If he can continue his record-breaking scoring pace, he could add another record to his tally.
Football transfer website TransferMarkt recently highlighted Girasci’s goal-scoring form. Giroud has scored a whopping 13 goals in seven Bundesliga games this season. Unsurprisingly, he leads the league in goals. In second place is Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) with eight goals.
It’s still early in the season, but Girasci’s goal-scoring trend is remarkable. No other player has scored more goals across all five leagues. Only Giroud and Lautaro Martinez (Inter Milan – 10 goals) have broken double digits.
Even compared to the all-time record, Girasi’s goals stand out. TransferMarkt compared Girasci’s scoring pace this season to Robert Lewandowski’s (FC Barcelona) record-breaking season at Bayern Munich.
Lewandowski scored 41 goals in 29 Bundesliga games in 2020-21, breaking the Bundesliga record for most goals in a season (40) set by Gerd Muller in 1971-72 after 49 years. Lewandowski’s record has not been broken in the last two seasons. 무지개토토
Based on the same number of games, Girasci has surpassed Lewandowski, who was at an incredible scoring pace at the time. Lewandowski scored 11 goals in the first seven games of the 2020-21 season. Girasci scored two more goals than Lewandowski at that point.
If Girasci maintains his scoring pace until the end of the season, he will set a new record for most goals in the Bundesliga. Of course, it’s not an easy task. As you can see from the scoring graph, Lewandowski has also had his work cut out for him after consistently finding the back of the net.
The Ghanaian striker is 1.87 meters tall and in good physical shape. After joining Stuttgart last season, he burst onto the German scene with 11 goals in 22 league appearances. This season, he’s turned heads with one of the hottest toes in the game.
