What did I get from breaking up with SON? A trophy! How many trophies did I get from leaving Tottenham? I’m still going strong!

Tottenham Hotspur parted ways with Son Heung-min and won a title.

On Sunday, score90, a soccer content production company, highlighted what Kyle Walker has accomplished at Manchester City since leaving Tottenham.

Walker led City to the top of the UEFA Super Cup, winning 16 titles in the last six years.

After teaming up with Son Heung-min at Tottenham and becoming close friends, Walker moved to Manchester City in July 2017. He immediately made his mark as a key resource.

In particular, he made his presence felt by being named to City’s title-winning squad.

Walker was also a winner last season. City won the English Premier League (EPL), FA Cup, and UEFA Champions League (UCL), completing a triple treble.

Walker added another title. City defeated Sevilla to win the Super Cup for the first time in franchise history.

City took Sevilla to penalty kicks, and Walker stepped up for the fifth kick. He was caught by the goalkeeper, but he was able to find the back of the net and avoid a penalty.

“I was the last kicker, and to be honest, I don’t like penalty kicks. I don’t like penalties to be honest. I don’t want to let them down,” Walker said behind the scenes.

While Walker never won a trophy with Tottenham, he has won 16 trophies since joining City.

Walker is under contract with City until next season, but the lack of extension talks has sparked transfer speculation, with German giants Bayern Munich interested.

However, after meeting with Pep Guardiola, Walker opted to stay at City and added another trophy to his collection by winning the Super Cup. 먹튀검증

Is escaping Tottenham down to a science? Walker seems to be taking the highway, not the muddy road. The stage is set for more trophies to come at City.

Walker isn’t the only one who’s been a part of the Spurs turnaround. Erik Lamela left Spurs for Sevilla, where he won the UEFA Europa League trophy.

Nuno Espirito Santo, formerly of Tottenham, led Al Ittihad to the top of the Saudi Arabian league.

Son’s soul mate, Harry Kane, left Tottenham for Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.

Kane left Tottenham because he wanted to win. He realized that a move was the answer to his ambitions.

Bayern Munich is a German powerhouse, and as the saying goes, “Bayern Munich is the team to beat”.

Kane left to win trophies, so can he use his Tottenham escape to win trophies too?
